We are a team of researchers and developers working in Network Service Division at PSNC. Our activities include research and development in the area of speech and speaker analysis, processing and recognition with applications in judiciary system, medicine and internal security, among others.
The New User Interface Technology Department has a team of researchers and developers specializing in digital signal processing, acoustic and linguistic modelling, ASR technology as well as computer system design, implementation and analysis. We cooperate with experts in phonetics and linguistics from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
User Voice Interface Technologies for Next Generation Services Laboratory is equipped with hardware and software used for speech acquisition, speech signal processing, speech annotation and processing, research and development in the area of voice controlled devices and acoustic signal measurement and diagnostics.
The results of our research and development activities include an original automatic speech recognition engine and a set of applications, which we refer to as ARM system. The system is a commercialization of the ZSKM project results. The project was led by prof. G. Demenko and prof. S. Grocholewski. Currently we concentrate on increasing speech recognition results correctness through the use of machine learning and adapting the ARM system to the new application areas.
