MediaEstimator Kickoff

MediaEstimator project has started with the beginning of January 2019. Its objective is to develop a service for analysis and evaluation of promotional and advertising information in media.


Modern media are changing very dynamically. We observe more and more services dedicated to a specific subject, service that use various forms of communication and target a very specific group of recipients. Communication is based on graphic and video content which is popular and easy to consume by the audience, especially by the younger generation.

This trend has been observed by various companies and institutions. Brand owners are looking for more engaging and effective forms of their product presentation. These forms include multimedia content presented in TV programs, films, during concerts and other mass event; Facebook, Instagram and Twitter entries, fun videos and memos circulating on the web.

As a result one can observe also a growing market demand for monitoring and evaluation of effectiveness of product placement and content marketing activities. The objective of MediaEstimator project is to expand and automate information tracking process for all mass media channels, including press, TV, Internet, podcasts and social media. Tracking will be performed for various forms of information such as text, voice, image, video content and their combinations. In addition to automation, new methods for brand exposure value calculation will be developed.
