DARIAH-PL Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities
DARIAH-PL is a development project POIR.04.02.00-00-D006/20-00 funded under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020 in the area „Development of modern research infrastructure of the science sector”. Its objective is to build Dariah.lab – a research infrastructure for digital humanities. The project consortium consists of 16 leading scientific institutions in the field of digital humanities. 15 Partners are members of DARIAH-PL which is the biggest humanities consortium in Poland. The consortium is led by ICHB PAN PSNC.
One of the services offered by Dariah.lab will be automatic speech recognition for Polish and medieval Latin. The latter option is developed to support historians studying documents written in medieval Latin, in their effort to digitize such documents.

EMMA44 Extracting information from electronic media using artificial intelligence and machine learning methods
Development project no DOB-SZAFIR/01/A/016/03/2021 supported by the National Center for Research and Development (defense and security area), conducted by PSNC in cooperation with TechInnowacje. The aim of the project is to develop advanced tools to support analysis of audiovisual content from open sources, using artificial intelligence. These tools will enable the automatic acquisition, archiving and processing of content broadcast in various news channels, especially Internet services and foreign language channels.
